Job Description


Under the supervision of the Training Manager/Station Manager, the Aviation Services Training Instructor (AVS Trainer) is responsibile for delivering initial and recurrent training to employees on all job functions.

  • Conducts training classes to ensure that employees are properly trained on assigned tasks.
  • Ensures that training curriculums and supporting materials are current and in place at each location and that each station has the resources required to satisfy all training requirements.
  • Ensures that training records are current and maintained in accordance with established standards.
  • Ensures that each location and each local trainer has the required instructor certifications for each area of training and that qualified trainers are available as needed.
  • Updates and maintains the Learning Management System records.
  • Audits training records and appropriately resolves any discrepancies.
  • Assists in determining organization training needs.
  • Creates and distributes reports detailing training activity and identifies and communicates issues and recommendations for improvement/correction.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Prefer candidate to have 1-2 years of airline ground handling/customer service/operations experience as well as training experience.
