We are currently looking to hire a motivated Payroll Tax Specialist.The payroll tax specialists will give authorization to and evaluate or input payroll operations and associated data.


Under the supervision of the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Tax Specialist is responsible for timely, accurate processing and reconciliation of all Multi-State tax reporting and filings on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis and other payroll functions


  • Works with 3rd party and tax jurisdictions to ensures compliance with Federal, State and Local Payroll tax laws
  • Knowledgeable of ADP Smart Compliance website
  • Manages multistate unemployment tax rates in BSI and Lawson/Infor HRIS
  • Respond to tax authorities concerning notices, tracers and correspondences
  • Supports Finance department with tax payment reconciliations
  • Responds to tax authorities concerning notices, tracers and correspondence
  • Set up new tax authorities and tax deductions
  • Maintain the Tax Error Report
  • Works with Sr. Analyst on quarter and year end balancing
  • Issues W2C’s
  • 2-5 years professional payroll experience
Knowledge of payroll principles, practices, regulations and procedures. Excellent computer skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to analyze and evaluate technical tax payroll activities. Must possess excellent math skills and be able to perform detailed computations.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience with 2-5 years of payroll experience preferred. Prior tax payroll experience is desired.
